Our Philosophy

It is our belief that children are hard-wired to learn and love

It is our role as educators to create an environment where children feel safe and confident to explore, be curious, and experiment with their idea’s. While you won’t see worksheets or craft projects, you will see daily photos and videos of exploration, art, and relationship navigations.

It is our belief that educators must LOVE their work

Every human being deserves to be adored and respected, and in the first years of life, the groundwork is laid for one’s expectation in relationship. If we do not love our work, then we have no right to be working with children. If we cannot provide the best for a child, then it is our responsibility to speak up.

It is our belief that children are natural problem solvers.

Children naturally encounter conflicts throughout their day. Our favorite question is, “How can you solve that problem?” While a teacher may step it, this question often gives children the chance to pause, reflect, and find their own solutions. Be creating an environment that moves at their pace and allows space to think, we help them grow into confident, capable thinkers

It is our belief that siblings should get to spend their days together.

Multi-age settings mimic the natural rhythms of family and home. Rather than separating children based on their chronological age, in Cultivate Programs, siblings and friends get to be together and choose who they would like to interact with at any given time. The older children love to nurture the littles, and the littles play and learn in wonder of the older children.
